i remember back in 1996, i was a junior playing rugby in Brisbane, and for one of the Reds fist S12 matches at Ballymore they invited a few of the clubs juniors players to do a march around the field at half time..

I was waving to my parents or something and not looking ahead, tripped over one of those massive speakers they have on the side of the field, pretty embarrasing.

If my memory is not failing as bad as I think it is, I am pretty sure for the games against the Chiefs and Brumbies there were kids playing mini rugby at halftime. Or was it pregame?

    that was pre-game.

wasn't there that pre-game entertainment of the high ropes people forming a scrum, before the brumbies game?

“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White
