    Conrad Gillingham

With Tamati not starting on Friday night they made a few last minute changes to the line up, one of which was this young fella. Now I think he was the one playing without a number on his jumper and he also played in the Academy match before.

Anyone else know anything about him??

he played centre for kalamunda throughout last year but did the most damage from on the wing, hence why he has been used there throughout the academy games. he played pretty average in the academy match (then again who didnt) but the week before at cottesloe he carved up! looks like he has bulked up a fair bit from last year so could be in for a good season...

The one who played without a number was Ben Whittaker. He was hooker in the last third (shaved head).

So was this guy the skinny boy with the mullet maybe? I didn't have a clue who he was.

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White

I wondered who that was. The radio commentators were making fun of his bright red shiny boots, they really stood out. Anyone know why Tamati didn't play, is he injured still?

Those boots would certainly take some living up to...deafening they were. There were a lot of "there's no place like home" comments where we were sitting.
