I downloaded a Torrent about 2 weeks ago and on Sunday I downloaded the official Beta version.

It is good really good I tried with a basic computer first 3000+AMD (754 socket) 1 gig ram(DDR400) and a 40 gig hard drive well it was the easiest install I have ever done. The only problem I had was with the ATI (9200 screen card) It was so old I could not find a new driver for it that worked and 7 did not recognize it either I did get it going after a while though

I then formatted and installed the Official 7 beta version on a 3200+ with 1.5gig with 80 gig and a ATI 9550 256meg just so I could compare it to XP pro and I was really surprised it ran much better than XP on the same machine and almost all driver were installed without a glitch The only problem I had was with the audio but a small manual update solved that as well

I have installed old games like Sims and unreal tournament and they are running sweet New games like Need for speed Pro Street is as good as it gets
Microsoft Office 2007 is also running like a dream
