    HEINEKEN CUP

For those interested in this cracking competition. Anyone who stayed up and watched the Munster V Clermont thriller last night will know what I mean. Great game, great atmosphere and I got to watch Brock James steer Clermont around the park. If Gits goes he should be targeted back to the FORCE. Oh and not to mention a bit of biffo which resulted in a red and yellow card.

Just finished watching a replay of 'Quins Vs. Stade Francais. Great game in terrible conditions. Quins win with a Nick Evans drop goal in the 82 min. Quins through 27 phases from the 79th min to the drop goal. Quins 19 - Stade 17

It was even longer than that and the drop goal came in the 84th and a half minute.

What a great game played in terrible conditions. Quins were lucky as there was a knock on which was missed by the Ref during the 29 phases.

Hopefully Thaied Up you'll get to see the Munster V Clermont game if you haven't already. Equally as thrilling.

was a good game just watched it too..
deplorable conditions bloody camera's were steaming up, could hardly tell which player was which.. Evans was dynamite.. kept trying for the dropgoal and kept getting closed down but every time he made 20-30 mts anyway.. Feel sorry for him in that he came along when Carter was around .. not much between them in skill thats for sure!

Felt sorry for Stade, their defence through those 29 phases was fantastic and every time Evans went to drop goal he was covered by about 4 guys. It looked bloody cold.

The lineouts were acomplete lottery with both teams losing about 7 of their own despite quality hookers and jumpers.

Didn't see Gasnier on the pitch though.

Gasnier was on the pitch (right wing). From what I saw, he only did one thing...drop a high ball when under no pressure! Even the English commentator paid out on him big time for that one!

Argh, disappointed with the Ulster draw after such a promising start.. Again, really challenging conditions, and full credit to Scarlets for the fight in 'em- but after Ulster's recent showing, I was ready for a win
