England's Lipman cited for stamping in heavy loss to All Blacks

From correspondents in London, England
December 02, 2008 ENGLAND flanker Michael Lipman will face an International Rugby Board disciplinary hearing later this week after being cited for stamping during Saturday's 32-6 loss to New Zealand at Twickenham.

Bath captain Lipman, 28, was reported by match citing officer Andrew Prior of South Africa and the Australia-raised back-row's case will be heard by IRB judicial officer Professor Lorne Crerar.

Lipman's citing adds to the disciplinary woes England experienced during their heaviest home loss to the All Blacks when they had four players - hooker Lee Mears, back-row James Haskell, outside-half Toby Flood and replacement forward Tom Rees - sent to the sin-bin by Irish referee Alain Rolland.
