Channel 10 tour coverage

Just looked ahead to the TV guide for this weekend. Channel 10 are showing the Wallabies game live again (hopefully a very different feed and commentator to the Italian game!!)

Interestingly, they are also showing the France v Pacific Nations match immediately afterwards on 10HD, as well as repeating the AUS game at 2pm on 10 main channel. Looks like they're really making a tilt at good coverage of Rugby. Hell of a lot better than Channel 7's efforts I must say.

They are also starting to show NFL and a LOT of other sports on the HD channel, as I understand it with an eye to having a dedicated sports channel from next year...

Could be good times ahead for those of us who can't afford Foxtel if they get hold of all the FTA rugby rights in place of 7.

Unfortunately I think Channel 10 are playing the "pretend Perth isn't 2 hours behind and show it at 1am WDST anyway" game.

I hate that game.

True, least it's only 2 hours, and they cough up a replay on Sunday arvo, which was a pleasant surprise.

ARU site has the game being broadcast LIVE to Perth as well this week on C10 and C10- HD.

Unfortunately the games cannot be screaned on a HD channel untill after it has been screaned on the main channel

Makes me wonder if they might be interested in televising the World Club Challenge Cup from Singapore. If they want to show rugby, why not get something all of their own? (Not even going to mention the ARC)

Hope so, Channel 10 online TV guide has it listed for 1am in both Sydney and Perth. Hope they're using their resources for getting the game on live and just neglecting to tell the internet people.

Just spoke to their reception here in Perth. They wont give out emails of the programme manager.

They said send them a Fax or Email.

Now ARU have said its LIVE on their schedule and surely C10 must have given some committment for that, or this local programme manager must have just come over from C7.

There is a complaints.doc form at the site but no emails that I could see.
