Marcato starts for Azzuri against Oz
As expected, Italy coach Nick Mallett has switched around his team for the forthcoming test against Australia in Padova on Saturday.
Mallett has abandoned his experiment of using centre Andrea Massi at fly-half, which he had done during this year's Six Nations, but instead of switching him back into the midfield, the South African has picked the Biarritz player at full-back.
Another centre Mirco Bergamasco of Stade Francais switches to the left wing as Calvisano's Gonzalo Garcia, who has just two caps to his name, comes into the centre to partner Gonzalo Canale.
Treviso's Andrea Marcato gets another start at fly-half while Pablo Canavosio of Viadana comes in at number 9.
It is in the pack that Italy are at their strongest and they will once again be captained by Stade Francais number 8 Sergio Parisse, who is one of four France-based players in the forwards alongside Mauro Bergamasco, Marco Bortolami and Salvatore Perugini.
