Yeah!! It's real beef. A Bull doesn't get to 15 years of age without being real.

Camel, Donkey and Horse are similar to Beef as well

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Hey FS - just reading your post again - are you saying they're doing this to get McDonalds sponsorship, because the two aren't related except that McDonalds also sponsors Ronald McDonald house.

Ron Mac House is a very worthy charity. I fully support the 's support thereof. Coincidentally, Movies By Burswood also supports Ron Mac House by them being one of the benefiting children's charities.

I'm sure Ronald McDonald House is of itself a fine charity and does good work.

But you can't disassociate it from the evils of McDonalds* whilst it carries that ridiculous (trademark*) name.

McDonalds* support for the charity it set up is based, in part at least, on the number of toxic burgers it sells. McDonalds* has long been associated with widespread enviromental and economic horrors and exploitation of the young and the poor.

Perhaps in your view the end justifies the means. McDonalds* benefiting from its association with a charity also benefits the charity. That is indisputably the case.

I happen to object to what appears to me to be the cynical manipulation of people's charitable intent in order to maximise corporate profit and to sanitise a muddy reputation .

I also happen to think the Force is jumping on that bandwagon for the same purpose, or at least in the hope of doing so.

I'm entitled to my opinion, just as you are to yours. Don't try to put the guilts on me for having an opinion. That's the angle McDonalds* are using, after all. "Ignore everything else, we support a charity".

I used to prepare beef that went to maccas, and it was the absolute crappiest beef they could pay F... all for...
As for the charitable side, maccas always has associated itself with children and use guilt to market themselves as well...So they can have thier cake and eat it by supporting thier own charity...Therefore if you don't support them you don't help thier charity, basically...
That being said, it is actually a great charity in what it does for families and children and as such is a worthy charity to support, although there are plenty more with lesser public profiles that would have benefitted from this promotion...
