Perth Bayswater's site has a clever tourist's guide.

(oh, just click where it says "Perth Bayswater's site" to see it. There's a link you see. Internet; marvelous technology)

If you are in posession of a Super 14 (or INternational for that matter) match ticket, your public transport fares are covered for three hours before and after the game. Transperth is the place to look for timetables and route information, try the journey planner, it usually gives you a pretty reasonable set of options for getting to the game. The train is a pretty good option with either Leederville, Subiaco or West Leederville stations being a fairly short walk from the ground (the former two just look for the lighting towers)

As for food, don't buy it in the ground (IMHO) it's expensive and the queues are pretty long. Jump off the train at Subiaco station, there's a subway about 100m from the station.

Things to do before the game.......as mentioned previously Leederville Bowling Club or JB O'Reilly's are friendly places, or take your sub and sit in the ground for up to two hours before the game, there's usually a curtain raiser of the local schoolboys sides.....the bars will generally be open in the ground at this time as well. That's two games of rugby for the price of one!

After the game, more drinking in the same establishments as long as you don't mind missing the special public transit services which generally run for about an hour after the game.

I've decided to start with a forum where people can put up information etc they thing is worthwhile. Decided to start broader than just RUgby and have also added in a general perth discussion forum too. Let's see how it goes - may be able to make a definitive guide from information posted here for the traveling supporter and then create a more static/easily readable page.
