Yep. The army is not so barmy today . Buy I don't see a lead of much more than 250, really. So plenty of scope still for the POM's if they're up to it.

A lead of 283 with 4 wickets remaining, and it's only stumps on day 2! We could see England starting the 4th innings before lunch on day 3, chasing over 300 runs with 8 sessions to get them.

    This is just mad!

Well it won't fizzle out to a draw anyway. This test and the Ashes pretty much swing on how much of a nuisance the Aussie tail can prove and maybe whether Archer is fit.

It is starting to look like Archer’s lack of first class Cricket over the past 12 months is starting to show. His pace has dropped rapidly.

Yeah that was pretty obvious. Looked jaded. Michael Holding gave Root a bit of a serve for overworking him at Lords. Running on adrenalin after a dream debut I'd guess.

You know the boys are on top when the Barmy Army are down to applauding the dead bat.

Jason Roy’s batting has been good for Australia.

You know, maybe they should've have it at the MCG, gold coin donation entry and a shot at the Guinness Book of Records.

I'm still smiling about the help the Eagles have given Collingwood, they really are too kind, but I'm sure the old "but Collingwood never have to leave Melbourne" line will be out in force when in fact their destiny was in their own hands, had the result been different Collingwood would have been out of top 4 and playing away in knock out week one. Thanks Eagles

Randwick giving 45yo Andrew Walker a swansong tomorrow from the bench against the Pumas tomorrow. Previous to his global tens effort for the Brums last year he was still coaching RL in Ipswich after playing into his 40's. Probably the most naturally gifted player in either code since Mark Ella.
