    arf, closer than her though.
couldn't bring myself to tell her the answer as she juggled the figures.
just as i was assuming she had grabbed the concept of 1 dozen= 12, she came up with 24.

Looks like normal service for England by peaking 2 years before the World Cup.

Back in the 70's I ordered half a dozen oysters before my steak in the "Hi Fri" in New Plymouth. I questioned getting 5 bluff oysters in 3 shells and was told it was a metric half dozen. No shut.
It doubled as a fish n chip shop at the front. I remember having a chuckle while I was waiting for the grub "2 fush n chups", "fush n chups end a fush cake", " 2 fush n chups end a paua frutter".......

There are no words that adequately describe my first (and hopefully last) encounter with a paua frutter.

Been in Sydney since Friday morning and would not even know that there is a Rugby Union team in the state, let alone the codes HQ, pages and pages of mungo and AFL in the press and plenty of TV news coverage for both of them too, but not boo about Rugby

Keep up the great work RA

Trainwreck having hysterics that GRR are getting positive vibes from public! Desperately spouting that GRR is in his opinion going to fizzle - I think he's about to have a coronary about it all. LOL!
