How much were those tickets Ali - if I can ask? I've seen the prices at 500pounds to 700! Been looking at some hotel/ticket packages that probably would be good, has anyone gone for those?

Re packages, I did look at a couple - one was We Love Rugby (which I think is the official ARU travel company) and the other was Sportsnet I think. They were both very expensive as I recall (around $7K for all London finals & return Econ flights from Perth).

I reckon the ticket/accomm packages are probably better value than the ones including flights as the flight costs seem to be much higher than if you booked them yourself on a special offer.

Flights included are way over the top - but as we wanted to extend travel plans the Ticket/hotel ones might be ok considering cost of tickets. Have used WeLoveRugby before for a Wallabies test at Suncorp and was pretty good (included meeting players) so that might be the way to go and book our own flights.

I used Rugby Fanatics for the French World Cup 2007 found them the most reasonable for tickets. Did my own Air Fares

I booked via sportsnet where you need a minimum of two nights accommodation. Then my four game tickets for pool games total wa 2100. Flights via Emirates 1950 and then staying at a hotel in Croyden for 9 nights 1600.
The Europe which is another matter altogether.
