Rookie lock Peter Kimlin has been called into the Wallabies squad today to replace the injured James Horwill on the Spring Tour.

The 23-year-old Brumbies player replaces Horwill, who was ruled out last week to undergo surgery on a damaged ligament in his left foot.

Wallabies coach Robbie Deans said Kimlin had already been tagged as a player of potential who he's looking to develop
