^^^ the scope of the projects funded in the above article will only be relatively small projects(eg below $1million). I doubt they would cough up a large chunk of it for a stadium in WA.

I don't doubt your evaluation but the point is that the governement is looking to spend money on infrastructure projects (including sports stadiums ?) in order to stimulate the economy, create jobs etc.

It's an opportunity. We just have to figure out how we capitalise on the opportunity.
