Didn't realise I had to declare my 24 year support of a rugby league club on a western force supporters Rugby Union website in order for it to be legitimised.

Well, consider this to be notice that next year I'll again be supporting Manly, having lived in the area for the majority of my life, having attended primary and high school there, and having gone to Brookvale Oval with my Dad as a kid to cheer on the maroon and white, though I do remember spending some gametime sliding down a hill on some carboard...

TIF- what's with the Manly love??- I though they could legally lynch you out Campbelltown way for that. I'd kinda understand if it was cos Wests dissapeared a bit in their merger, but given what happened to the 'Northern' half of the Northern Eagles merger, I figure that's not it.

Way back before the Newton Jets first moved to Campbelltown, who quickly folded, then West's moved there, lasted a while then merged with Tigers, now West Tigers, I had a mate who was from Manly, his folks split, they moved to Campbelltown but we used to visit his old mans in school holidays, right above Brookvale Oval and just up from the beach. So Manly it has always been. A fantastic win and a great send off for Beav.
