Well future Wallabies, Horney isn't there yet

Just out of interest, are threads allowed to evolve into different areas of conversation (still rugby related in this case) or should a new thread be started for any deviation on the original post?

It's my fault sorry Neartho, I cheersed you for making a good point, and while yours was still a good point the fact that I agreed with you would be a red rag to some

    Stop being pestiferous.
This thread is about the 2011 world cup team and how the Wallabies team of today is buiding for the future etc.
It appears that it turned into a Force only retain 33% possession blah blah blah usual bashing.

Yes go off on a tangent, but don't start Force-bashing, its getting old and repetitive.

Unfortunately correct, we all know that unless your forwards establish a solid platform and get good ball the backs will struggle. Slow ball means that the defence gets set. Hopefully the Force forwards will take it up another notch next year and batter the tah forwards black and poofy blue

Dem's big words, how did you know I was infected with an epidemic disease?

Force bashing? Is that what statements of fact amount to these days?

I'll be very interested to see which foreign internationals you recruit, Force could be a real threat with a decent scrum..

I've never really paid attention to the protocols since they haven't applied to us in the past, though you'd have to assume clubs can buy out contracts in a similar fashion to the UK premiership soccer.

If the ARU's happy to cough up the dough then you can only hope that Mitchell has Setanta to watch the Heineken cup.

unfortunately the ARU can't compete with the money on offer in Europe, maybe thats why 2 saffers have been approached so far

We should be looking for a young up and coming French or Argentine prop who could become naturalised. They'd provide some good mongrel levels too. As for the established foreign player, we could end up signing anyone, literally. Though a massive, hard-hitting Samoan, Tongan or Fijian flanker to compliment Pocock and Browny would be good.

thats what i reckon we should be after, but for our front row. we dont need another flanker i think horua was great last season til he got injured. this will be his season with him at 6, bambam 7 and brown 8. a MASSIVE young islander is what i would like for our front row, if we have to import someone... we definetly dont need anymore saffas round here

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

OI I understand what you're saying NTT but there are young girls on here who don't need to read that.
Sorry, you have a valid point but censor it for the sake of the younger members and female members please.
