I know the Tahs will push hard for him but they tried for him before and he said no.

Early theories suggest he'll go to Perth to be with Henners (bleh), but who knows.

We desperately need somebody of that calibre to ensure that the supporters see a way forward. He'll help us immensely.

I have voted yes, it would be great if he was on our side and would help our backline hugely.
However, for the same dollars we could get two our three very good young players, Gits only needs one wayward tackle made or laid and you've blown a huge pile of money for the year.
On balance definately better to have him, but I can see an argument not to.
Is he six to seven times better than a top level NSW or Qld rising star signing for the first year?
Or three or four times better than perhaps a Julian Huxley or Berrick Barnes?
His package would pay the entire WA Academy program for the year or easily the Apprentice wages for the Squad!
Also, what happens if he has a negative effect on our social Half Back?

I see your point and I would hope with the way they developed their financial model, i.e. based on 4000 members rather than 22000 etc., that they were well and truly ahead of plan The best way to stay in that position is to make sure the sponsors and supporters have something to be happy about and believe in. A big name is a great way to do this. I realise there is risk involved but if they are in the business to win then these risks must be taken.
