Not here in Adelaide. We get to see Carlton v Kangaroos live instead of the Olympics.

Not that I care though. Yeah it's fun to put the Olympics on every now and then, but seriously no one gives a stuff about these sports for the other 3 years and 50 weeks out of every 4 years.

Apparently it's only Sydney and Brisbane that aren't going to have football on Sunday.

I can't make my mind up about the Olympics, I really do'nt care that much about them, but somehow still spent most of the weekend watching them
I'd say they're better than regular weekend programming you normally get stuck with while doing the ironing, so that's my excuse.

Yeah we don't care so much about most Olympic sports, but it's a bit chicken and egg- it'd suck to care about them the rest of the time, cos you'd never get to see them! Maybe if they were on tele more than once every four years, we would.

Gotta admit to loving the Olympics - it's the only time you get to see athletes doing something other than AFL on the telly in Oz - in Europe we had more choice and people do follow some of these sports.

They may not all be main stream sports but they all have a cult following of fans. I'm sure there are as many people here in the US that didn't sleep well last night because the Womens Gymnastics team lost to China, as there was down there when you lost the RC to the Poms. And even more still celebrating the victory in China.

I'm not a big fan of any of the summer sports although I do enjoy watching. It's certianly more entertaining than all the thrashy reality shows that are on. Now the winter games are a different story, I'll watch all the figure skating and hockey that I can.

I never got that curling thing! Yes figure skating, Just because one or 2 of the guys are gay doesn't make it a bad sport. I'll bet that a few of the Tahs players have experimented while on a road trip.

Blades of glory, now that was figure skating for me....I like ice hockey and slalom and super g i think its callled, oh, and bobsledding and luge rock too...

Chicks dig guys that skate. All the sports FR named are better than the summer ones. Except for womans volleyball.
