This saturday see's a full round of fixtures in the SW with Bunbury City Bulls playing their second home game of the season against the Collie Diggers. Bunbury had a full compliment of players and looked good against a strong Dunsborough side, while Collie totalled 22 players last saturday- lending Margs some players. This led to some history being made with the team arriving short and being lent players going on to win the game- albeit by 1 point!! The other game to be played at margaret river is the "awd enemies" Margs v Duns, always a mouth-watering rugby feast- Duns still smarting from the drubbing handed them by the Gropers a couple of weeks ago, they have promised to rectify things this week!! following some coaching at Busselton high the Jets should have some new players this week at the 16 age group, they need to strengthen this age group as Denmark ag school are looking to tour in 3 weeks!!
This saturday sees the Great Southern league game in Katanning with Albany visiting. Excitingly this will be preceeded by a junior rugby game between Denmark Ag and Katanning juniors, less exciting will be a visit from the Rugbywa DO to help out on the day!! Albany juniors will be training on sunday building on their success from last sunday when they had over 30 kids playing in the atrocious weather! Denmark junior school will be getting some coaching in preparation for juniors starting in Denmark soon- watch this space!!
