Coach, can you whip up a script to automatically send a form complaint email to Channel 7 from the TWF users who click on a poll option? Could be very amusing (although possibly tantamount to spamming).

It's on page 2 of the West today titled:

"Out of touch seven drop kicks rugby" the gist of the article was that the editor of the column was somewhat disappointed when he turned on the TV to see the match and instead found "princess diaries" (don't think he likes Julie Andrews) as he can he attempted to find Ray Wardrop to find out why only to find that Ray and 40,000 others were crowded into Subi. Hmmmm

There was a nice cartoon though - keep going, obviously this guy is a bit of a fan himself he just needs to be able to justify it to his boss or something !

Or was that him doing 'research' as to how many people in this town are willing to fork out hard earned cash to watch the Wallabies play on an oval ? Get the hint, we do like rugby and there is more than a handful of people in this state who want Rugby broadcast on Channel 7 before midnight!

How about instead of him going to the game, he sits home and stays up until 12:05am the following morning to watch it...then type up a new response to our emails!

Still no response from Ray to my second e-mail so I decided to forward them on to the Editor at the West Australian as a response to the Inside Cover yesterday.

Also sent him a link to this thread on the TWF to enlighten him to the fact that Ray Waldrop is sending a blanket response to any "why is the rugby on so late" questions.

I would love to see Ray get some reporters on his door step asking a few probing questions to Channel 7's support of rugby in WA and to why they believe re-runs of Princess Diaries and Speed would get a larger demographic on a Saturday night.

I had also previously sent them to the Force sugggesting that they could coordinate a petition from Force members requesting Rugby coverage in prime time and send it to Channel 7.

No response from them yet either.....
