I'm fairly connected (or My wife more than me) with the Kid's Cancer Support Group, who I know have a big interest in the parents accomodation arrangements and so forth for 3B. These guys just became the nominated charity for the Variety club bash last year, so you know they're on the level)

I'll get a message moving in the right direction and see how they respond.

BTW if you're linking this with Kid's cancer specifically pink has been the colour for breast cancer, is there another colour which could be used or doesn't that matter?

Yellow? (or Gold as the case may be)

Perhaps a special Gold WF jersey for a home game? Keeps the WF brand somewhat intact, and the Cancer Council "Daffodil Yellow" gets a showing also.

Yeah that sounds good also, I'll start sending some letters to certain people to see what comes back. There is plenty of time to organise this for next season.

Good luck with your plan, WRF, I'm sure with the help of those in the know on this site you will be able to make this happen. Best wishes to you and your son

Best of luck and my prayers go out to you & your son. Think BIG you never know how it will take off. Over here in 2000 there was a girl who set up a lemonade stand to raise money to help her doctors find a cure for cancer. They have now raised over $20 million for childhood cancer research. alexslemonade.org

This is the Neath Swansea Ospreys (Magners League) charity top that they wore for one game. The lilac colour is usually black and the black is usually a grey colour. This is the advertisment picture from the clubs shop where it is still on sale and doing well. I think the black swan against this colour would really make a statement and make people take notice that this was no ordinary game.

Any female perspective on wearing a top with the blue replaced with this colour but keeping the swan the same?

Great Idea with the one off jersey. Will have to be publicized more than usual to get the public on board and buying.
So easy to do with the sublimated jerseys as well, can be produced within a week or so.

Good luck with your son and the cancer. Have been through with my family, be strong and keep the faith.

Cheers for your thoughts. I sent a letter to the CEO at Rugby WA this morning to start the ball rolling. I'm sure you know him as I'm pretty sure you run the Force store.

Great picture and avatar, wish Wales had similar images of the team.

I think it will look good with the Swan and the purple.
Its a great idea and I think that once the public know about it they will all get behind it!

Good luck with your son and good on you for being proactive and organising this.

We'd never hear the end of it from the poofy blue blokes if we went with purple

Ah your right, but we would have chosen to wear purple to support a charity..its not like we wear poofy blue every week because we like it...

i think they wouldn't even start if it was for a worthwhile cause like this BLT. They might be tahs supporters, but they're human as well, they just have dodgy taste in Rugby teams

Good onya WRF for getting the ball moving on this, and best of luck for the future
