I'm guessing David Strettle. He was in the army and we all know what happens there......

Is it just me or does the witness wanting to be called Angel not sound cheap and tacky like some kind of street worker. If soap dropping is their game and the Bangkok newspapers seem to be in the know then perhaps Angel is some kind of Thai lady-boy.

English 'not speaking' to NZ sex police

Members of the English rugby union team have received legal advice not to speak to police.

Members of the English rugby team are refusing to speak to police investigating allegations of a serious sexual assault in Auckland.

In a statement the team management said all of the players sought by police for interview had received legal advice not to speak to the officers.

No formal complaint has yet been made to police, but the allegation - that a woman was sexually assaulted or raped - is being treated as serious.

"The England rugby squad can confirm that a request was made by the Auckland police for certain playing members of the squad to voluntarily attend a meeting with Christchurch police in order to speak to officers concerning the allegations presently under investigation," the team statement said.

Funny that you say that because a bit over a year ago a police commissioner in NZ was in hot water over allegations of sexual abuse of a woman with two accomplaces. The two accomplaces were both ex-police officers and both in jail for convictions for rape. It was Brad Shipton and someone else for anyone who is interested. From what I gathered there was a bit of a nasty culture in that area once upon a time (Bay of Plenty).

You just have to be careful which sex police you call.

RFU to probe England conduct on NZ tour

The Rugby Football Union (RFU) has announced it will probe allegations of player misconduct during England's disastrous two-Test tour to New Zealand.

The investigation will be conducted by the RFU's disciplinary officer Jeff Blackett, who intends to reveal his findings as soon as possible.

Blackett's probe will run separately from the police investigations taking place in New Zealand involving allegations of serious sexual assault against four unnamed England players.

The decision was made after the RFU Management Board's regular monthly meeting, during which the RFU Elite Rugby Director, Rob Andrew, gave a detailed report on the tour down under.
