mrs slomo wears them to the games listening to the refs only, and thoroughly recommends them, also i don't have to keep telling her whats going on.

They really are the best money you will spend on rugby.

Tip - always check your sportsears before you leave home, they have a habit of switching themselves on mid week (either that or you forget to turn them off) so by the time you get to the game it's too late, so check your sportsears or carry some spare batteries. I have so far been through two sets of spare batteries, but they have gone to other InnFORCEers!

has anyone scanned the frequency? I was interested in this for a while, would be great to hear the coaches etc.. and would also be good to take to the cricket and hear the third umpire etc.

got my Sports Ears this season and am impressed - they're great when you go to the bar/dunny mid match, and it adds a lot to the experience to hear the ref from your seat.

the cricket has started selling their own, as has the NRL. I saw the cricket ones at the Test Match this year and i think they cost about $26. I just took my personal radio because i love listening to Kerry O'Keefe

The most important thing to remember about sports ears is that once you get to the game - to put them on.

The last 3 times I have travelled to Perth to watch the Force play - my Rugby Sports Ears have sat in my pocket and not seen the light of day.

ok - yes its embarrassing. But, when you are that excited to see the Force live you forget the little things.

Another tip, if you have remembered to put your sports ear on, remember that you have them on throughout the game. especially when a try is scored and you jump up and start flailing your arms wildly.

I have lost count of the number of times i've flung mine off and had the backing come off and the batteries make their way a few rows in front or behind. Think the people sitting around me brace themselves now.

Towards the end of the season I started clipping them to my wet weather jacket.

    That worked... sometimes.

Replace excited with 'beered up' and I'm with you all the way.

Bought a pair on the weekend at the Superstore and will use them for the Wallabies game here. It's a pity you can't buy one that will work for both the cricket and the rugby

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Look on the positives, X. At least you can claim a 100% record for something.
