Maybe a simpler solution, seeings we have a wider readership, is just to get Shep to write for us instead....

You can thank me later! (assuming that any worth his/her salt likes nothing better than a new problem to solve...)

TIF, a new challenge for you.
Perhaps Bam Bam or JOC as they will be around for a while now.

If you want to speed up the process, ask TLH he'll probably lend you a hand.

Whereas it takes years at law school to learn how to write letters "to the editor"

Next thing you know, you blokes will be encouraging us to skew polls at Rugbyheaven as well.

If we applied this rule, and also remember to what Mick Collis said about getting involved with Rugby Talkback on 6PR we have a greater chance of encouraging an improved media involvement.

    A win/win all round I think

Well, I've got this going now. Only works on the first post on new threads (which covers what we need)

You can now post a new thread, then copy and paste the entire contents of an article from another website. A little below the submit button in the "Additional Options" section you should find a check box "This thread is an article" - check this, and then paste the articles original URL (web address) into the "Articles Original Link" box.

    Then click on Submit Reply.

The post will only show the first 150 words of the article, and then add in a link to the original article. At a time in the future (when the article is probably not much of a draw card for the original publisher) the article will automagically start appearing in it's full form on TWF. So if a website takes down the original, it is still archived on TWF for future generations

Give it a go on anything you post from The West or Sunday times and let me know of any bugs - Thanks!
