Pens looked slow and out of it for the first 30 minutes as they fell down 2-0. Malkin scored to make it 2-1 and they had a big power play kill to get them back into the game. It's the end of the second.

Down 3-1 the Pens score with 90 seconds to make it 3-2 and come within inches of making it 3-3 with 1 second left but they fell short. The Red Wings win their 4th cup in 11 years. They certainly deserve it, they were the best team all year long and the best in the playoffs. Their defense was nothing short of amazing the entire series.

It has been a hell of a fun ride for the last 2 months of playoff hockey. The Pens came up 2 games short with a 14-6 playoff record. I don't get to make a trip back home for a victory parade but they did give me a Conference Final win against the team that plays where I live now and most of my friends support. They're a great young team with their top stars being 21, 20, 23, & 19 years old. They will be back! See you in Oct. Pens!
