    Well Done Perth

I am proud to be a Perthite right now.

Despite 2 losses in a row, the Western Force are expecting 30,000 people to attend the game this week...that is fantastic news,

    According to Channel 10 news.

This is a sensational effort and on the same weekend as the Western Derby were they are expecting over 40,000 people.

    Might be all Chiefs fans...

Has anyone else been quite dismayed at how the media a part from Channel 10 (has an interview with John Mitchell every Tuesday) has lost all interest in Rugby really...it didn't take them long.

Nonesense. Dell's drinking is the lead sports story here at the moment.

Good to see crowds still up by the way.

I've been a bit critical of the TV coverage in the news as well however, credit where credit is due to The West Australian for their Monday and Thursday Liftouts.
I'd like to see a bit more WA emphasis but comparing how far we have lept in one season it is fantastic.
The Sunday Times are coming a close second but obviously only get one shot per week.

I think the coverage of Rugby in Perth, when I was there the other week on both the TV and the print media is huge.

If any sport has a complaint, took to the administrators of V8 Supercars. now considering the money they money from sponsor they attract, ratings, supporters and attendence their coverage outside of Channel 10 News and sport is a joke.

Rugby Union is WA whether we like it or not would have to be considered fouth or fifth on the pecking order. Give it time

That has got me so excited for the game, anything over 30,000 is an excellent crowd...our next game could be huge against the Waratahs as we have a 3 week break between now and then...

We could beat our opening crowd against the Brumbies hopefully...

Lets hope our first ever win is this week however.
