    You work for your mum?

Might be an interesting crowd...my neighbours are died-in-the-wool Eagles supporters (got the doormat, etc etc) and even they've looked at this particular match and decided to head down.

yeah i'm casual. so no rights for me. i have to work when she wants me to because i have no holidays or anything like that.
and its only because she doesnt wanmt to go in to the store. as the manager is on holidays and herself and myself are the only other ones that know how to do the chicken stocktake.
shes going to be there anyway to count the money. i'm going to get all the shit she gave me done before my shift finishes because i am totally awsome at my job. but i still bet i'll have to stay there.
i'm not complaining that i still have to do the work she wants me to. thats not a problem. but i think when i finish it early there will suddenly be something else for me to do. which is completley BULLSHIT!

cant wait till i get out of there

jono, casuals have plenty of rights, you don't EVER have to work when it's not fine with you...with no exceptions...

No Jono you work at mutually agreed times if you don't want to work you tell her....If she values you as much as you say it won't affect your employment at all.....I know that coming form me, that seems strange since I too have a problem with the word no, but that is actually the way it is!

How can you say no to your mum without putting your inheritance at risk?

    i dont work for family.
thats a situation that rarely ends well.
and ive told her i'm looking for a new job. so if i piss her off too much she can tell me to finish up and take me off the roster
but i'm not in a union. and i really cbf arguing with her because all that would happen is me walking out and someone else would cover my shifts.
i'm getting out anyway. sick of minimum wage.

i thought that would have been an easy decision - playing for soaks or getting signatures... i would do anything not to play for associates!!

Much more fun playing against soaks, especially if you whoop them...
