the stormers were hungrier at the break down, and to be honest should of won by more, but wayward kicking in the second half let them down, as for the force the only thing that seemed to go right was a well worked, set play from the line out for the first try of the game, at the end of the day we were out played and out classed, hopefully gits is alright he was targeted most of the night and took a few big hits, he didnt look the best as he went off in the second half........

I'm looking at it as the one we had to lose. The guys will now get themselves together and rip the rest of the season into the finals.

    Nuff said.

    Next game please

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

The Force were beaten by a far better side and their brutal defense. They won crucial turnovers at the breakdown and stole from our lineout too often. When our boys did have the pill they were herded towards touch like a mob of sheep. Nobody tried to change things by running straight or coming back on the angle. An off night which will give the coaches plenty to work on. Hopefully just a speed bump on the way to the finals. But that road still looks a hard one when you consider that the 'Canes & Blues sit 3 & 4 and they have already had the bye.

It is ok being a true supporter of the force but after fridays game a few home truths have to be faced. A few force players went missing in action when the heat was put on, these weren't junior players but were some of the senior members. Once again the predictable nature of our game plan was exposed by more aggressive players. It again appears that the backs coaches only game plan is to get the ball to Cross and try and get him over the gain line. If this doesn't happen we are stuffed.
When does mulvihill's contract come up for renewal, soon I hope.

i'd say the length of mulvs contract will be linked to mitchells in some way, as he also selects the coaching staff around him......

I feel desperately sorry for Sharpie. This giant of a man, in all ways, deserved better than this outcome.

Mm i honestly think they were just stuffed. They looked lethargic from word go. I guess that's what 5 weeks on the road does to you but still, I can't justify that performance. Lets just put our support behind them and get ready for a brillant come back next weekend. Come on boys!

well. we DEFINATLEY know what areas need to be worked on now dont we?!?!
least now the team as a whole has something to prove to themselves: that the wins overseas were not flukes and they can play decent rugby for 80 mins.
it was just frustrating that everytime we got momentum there was a mistake or whatever.
