I actually think that Cross would get a look at 13 before Staniforth (whom I LOVE at 12 btw). Cross has been absolutely outstanding at 13 this season, whereas I've never seen Staniforth shine there for some reason (though he's had limited time admittedly). Plus it sounds like Mortlock may play the second half of S14 at 12 to give Ashley-Cooper 13 spot at Brumbies (who I also think is excellent there). That might seal Staniforth's fate to the bench... :-(

There is a form of 'Transformation' going on in Australian Rugby as well - the "Australian Rugby Community" will soon get used to the fact that we are the best in the West and therefore the vast majority of the Wallabies will hail from here?!?!?!

Staniforth played inside centre for the first season and was the Force's top try scorer with nine tries combining well with Hilgendorf at fly half. He was followed closely by Shep on seven tries who also scored seven tries in 2007.
