This may explain it a bit better, looks like a take on the spectator point of view...

As part of the 2008 Perth International Arts Festival, Barking Gecko presents Australia vs South Africa, a funny, physical and thought-provoking play about competition, nationalism and international sport, aimed at adults and young people over 12 years of age.

Direct from a sell-out season at Sydney Theatre Company, the production brings together South African actors Bheki Mkhwane and Ellis Pearson and Perth's own Sam Longley (Shakespeare in the Park) and Craig Williams (His Majesty's New Clothes).

The South Africans are here to play the test match of the new millennium and our sporting reputation and national pride are on the line. Expect a capacity crowd at the ground and thousands of fans - Aussies and South Africans - at big screen TVs across the city. Security will be tight, and there will be no room for inappropriate behaviour. The sport could be cricket, hockey, netball or rugby... here, the real action takes place in the crowd and outside the stadium.

The season kicks off February 8 at Subiaco Arts Centre Theatre, running Wednesdays to Saturdays at 7pm (plus a 2pm matinee Saturdays) until 23 Feburuary. Book now via BOCS Ticketing for this unique international theatre experience.

Preview peformance just added: Thursday 7 February at 7pm. All tickets $14.95 each (normally $19.90 each). Book through BOCS.

Unfortunately though, it looks like the season has ended on saturday so we miss out, damn it...
