Great photos Ecky! I'll have to get Seane to have a look at them, might want to use some in the store. (if that's ok with you of course)

I thought the whole thing was fantastic. The boys were so kind and so gracious and looked genuinely pleased that so many people had turned up to watch them train and seemed more than happy to sign stuff and pose for photos. I'm sure it's what they were told to do but you can't fake smiles and grins that wide. Just made me even more proud to be a Force Supporter and superstore employee. They're a good group of eggs no matter what the SMH has to say! Proud as punch.

OMC and I only saw a little bit of the game after the training which was looking very entertaining but it had been a long day and we decided to head home to the air con and get some dinner.

Did anyone stay for the whole thing? Should we have hung around?

You know what Jess? Maybe Grumbles & Co at the SMH have done The Force a favour in some ways. All that crap they heaped on them has probably made the supporters even more parochial, if that's possible.

Wish i could of made it, but had cricket and we're making a late charge towards the finals. Sounds like it was a good arvo though

Jedi, Happy and myself stayed for the whole trial match. Ended up pretty even about 7 tries each. Academy were on top first half and Gold took out second half. MOM - Dane the hyphen...a star in the making there.

AJ stuck around and was giving plenty of advice to Kiren during the breaks (4 x 20mins), which was fantastic to see....AJ also ate the remaining free sausage sangers then chased a guy out that was carrying the raw left snaggers and bag of chopped onions!!
