    Resurgent Scotland shock France

All the action as Scotland play France at Murrayfield in the Six Nations. Kick-off 1500 GMT.

Scotland begin their Six Nations campaign with a famous victory against pre-tournament favourites France. Sean Lamont scores twice for the hosts, who resist a late French fight back.

79 mins: Scotland are awarded a penalty, which they kick to the corner. If they can secure the line-out then they just have to run the clock down, with only a few seconds remaining. They duly win the line-out and Cusiter kicks the ball into touch to give the Scots a stunning victory.

75 mins: TRY Scotland 20-16 France
France give themselves a chance as Bruno takes a sublime delayed pass from Thomas Lievremont to score a try in the corner after a sustained French attack. Elissalde cannot convert from out wide, which means the visitors remain more than a penalty behind the Scots.

72 mins: There are now less than eight minutes for the Scots to hold out and at the moment they are managing to keep France at bay.

70 mins: Scotland maintain possession for several minutes before Ross pins France back with a deep kick. Jon Petrie comes on for Scottish captain Jason White.

63 mins: Scotland replace fly-half Parks with Leeds number 10 Gordon Ross. France replace prop Pieter De Villiers with Olivier Milloud, while Sale hooker Sebastien Bruno also enters the fray.

60 mins: PENALTY Scotland 20-11 France
Scotland's Andrew Henderson is penalised for a high tackle and Elissalde trims the gap to nine points with the penalty.

57 mins: France scrum-half Elissalde bats the ball out of Cusiter's hands to give Scotland a very kickable penalty, but Paterson misses, to loud groans from the crowd.

55 mins: Chris Cusiter comes on for scrum-half Mike Blair as a blood replacement. The Scots then get a lucky break as Cedric Heymans is unable to gather a cute chip through with the line at his mercy.

50 mins: TRY Scotland 20-8 France
France hit back as number eight Julien Bonnaire crashes over in the corner to finish off a sweeping French attack started by a powerful Fritz drive through the Scotland midfield. Elissalde's conversion strikes the upright and does not go over.

45 mins: TRY Scotland 20-3 France
Scotland score an extraordinary try as they win a line-out and then set up a driving maul which rumbles 20 yards before winger Lamont emerges from the heart of the maul to dive over. Paterson adds the conversion.

41 mins: French fly-half Michalak gets the second half underway and Scotland secure possession before clearing their lines. Scotland immediately introduce prop Craig Smith in place of Bruce Douglas.

    HALF TIME: Scotland 13-3 France

39 mins: PENALTY Scotland 13-3 France
A poor Scottish line-out hands France good possession and they earn a penalty, which Jean-Baptiste Elissalde slots to finally get the French on the board right on the stroke of half-time.

33 mins: Another French attack is halted by swarming Scottish defence, with number eight Simon Taylor to the fore. France fly-half Michalak is forced to drop back into the pocket and attempt a long-range drop-goal, which falls helplessly wide.

31 mins: PENALTY Scotland 13-0 France
A break by Mike Blair is carried on by Paterson, who chips ahead and is tackled early by French winger Christophe Dominci. Paterson picks himself up to slot the penalty.

28 mins: Scotland centre Marcus Di Rollo leaves the field, to be replaced by Simon Webster, who usually plays on the wing.

20 mins: PENALTY Scotland 10-0 France
Scotland are awarded a penalty on the French 10-metre line and Paterson slots the kick.

16 mins: French centre Florian Fritz makes a searing outside break up to the Scottish 22 but the final pass goes to ground.

12 mins: TRY Scotland 7-0 France
Scotland hammer away at the French line again and score when winger Sean Lamont steps inside Frederic Michalak in midfield to score by the posts. Chris Paterson converts.

4 mins: Andrew Henderson claims a hanging Parks kick to spark a sweeping attack which ends with Jason White being hauled down just short.

The Scots attack again and are awarded a penalty but Simon Taylor fails to force his way over from short range.

1 min: France start brightly and attack for the best part of two minutes before Scotland manage to clear their lines, full-back Hugo Southwell clearing the ball to halfway.

1504 GMT: Scotland fly-half Dan Parks prepares to get the game underway.

1456 GMT: The Princess Royal is introduced to the team ahead of the anthems.

1453 GMT: The teams have entered the playing arena at Murrayfield in Edinburgh. The noise of massed bagpipes swirls through the air as Scotland run out, led by captain Jason White, who is winning his 50th cap.
