    Western Force Retired Players - Roll of Honour

    PLAYERS

    1. John "The Mayor" Welborn - The first West Australain to play for the Force and the first to retire at the end of the 2006 season.

    2. Brendan "BC" Cannon - The first former World Cup Wallaby to finish his playing days at the Force. Brendan retired after suffering a neck injury in NZ during the 2007 season.

    3. Angus "Gus" Scott - The most talkative player from the Force's pack, Angus has been forced to retire due to ongoing heel problems and will not start in 2008. Remains as Forwards Coach.

    4. Matt Henjak - The first Western Force Player to have his contract withdrawn for continued off field incidents.





    SPECIAL MENTION

    1. Peter O'Meara - The founding CEO of the Force in 2005, Peter has carried out the enormous task of getting the Force established and bring on major sponsors and players, a stella job.

    2. Tom Baddeley - The first Media Manager with the Force, Tom has seen the boys hit great highs and also some pretty ugly lows in his three years service, Tom leaves having exposed the Force to Australia and the World, a hard man to replace.

    Lachie McKay? Talked to him on Saturday And he says he is fit and crossed his fingers. It's a shame that injury has spoilt the last two seasons for him, he has alot of talent.

    You will notice Matt Henjak has made it onto the list.

    I saw John Welborn (President and Creator of WFRPC) and I asked him if Matt would be included. Johns response was "I hadn't even thought of that, but he will add some spark to get togethers so he's in"

    Let's just hope the list stops here for while.
