Former Australia coach Eddie Jones is to become director of rugby at Saracens, the English club has announced.
The 47-year-old, who was recently part of the technical staff for South Africa's World Cup winning campaign, will take over at the end of the current season from Alan Gaffney.
"Succession planning and consistency in staff is important to ongoing success in any business and in this case, we have one world class coach who is going to be succeeded by another," Saracens chief executive Mark Sinderberry said.
Tasmania-born Jones took over as Australia coach in 2001 and took the Wallabies to the 2003 World Cup final. He was sacked in 2005 after a poor run of results.
He has worked with Saracens before on a consultancy basis in 2006 and recently took charge of Super 14 side Queensland Reds.

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
Why is this news? we knew he was off to Saracens before he signed with SA.
