You can wait till people give you positive rep or you can give people positive rep and build yours up

Basically it comes down to making a great post and people appreciate the comments and give you good rep, easy as...The opposite is true if you bag someone for no real reason or take the piss people can give negative rep...
The red square under your avatar indicates you as negative as you stated, so try to make a few useful comments or post something really good...

You can then give yourself all your vCash and have irrelevant arguments with yourself just to see who takes which side.
