were in block 120 which is silver seats, ive sat in gold seats at the wallabies games and i think were better off in silver but its the luck of the draw i guess, in regards to which silver seats you end up with....

I've sat in what would be awesome WF silver seats (second tier, level with the tryline, front row) for the Wallabies and didn't find I enjoyed the match as much. You saw a better percentage of the field, but needed binos to see the far end of the ground. The Gold seats don't offer you much of an opportunity to see the strategic stuff since you are pretty much side on to the players even in the back row, but you are a bit closer to the game. I also reckon the people you are surrounded by are more into the because you need to be pretty well off to drop 460 bucks a seat on tickets to see a team you are lukewarm about.

That being said, I've sat near some real plonkers in my two seasons so far, so I could be wrong on that score!

Not all the gold sections. it always seems to stop in about section 101 or 102, I think it might be because they have those flip up plastic seats. When I was on the benches I'd always get involved in the wave, but now that I've moved to the comfy seats, it's awkward jugging a beer, a linebreak a pie and reaching down to make sure you don't end up on your ass on the floor!

    I just stay seated now!

    We were in block 308

I was in Gold in the first year, in 131, which wasn't tooooo bad. I gave that up last year in order to accommodate His Nibs who decided to join me.

Indeed. And one day (or so the fairytale goes), we'll be in a rectangular stadium.

If you want to be close to the action you should build yourself a black swan suit and ask the Force if you can be the mascot.
