AFTER weeks of speculation Perth supermodel Megan Gale has reportedly won the role of Wonder Woman in Australian director George Miller's film, Justice League of America.

According to reports on entertainment websites, Gale has beaten Hollywood star Jessica Biel to the part.

The reports claim multiple Warner Bros sources and unnamed agencies have confirmed the casting, which is to be officially announced in the next few weeks.

Last month The Sunday Times reported that Gale was in the running to play the role, made famous by Lynda Carter in the 1970s television series Wonder Woman.

Gale's height and her dark, sultry looks are perfect for the role and strongly evoke the DC Comic book representation of Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman attire includes a gold-plated bustier and tiara, knee-high boots and exciting accessories - a golden lasso that forces people to tell the truth, bullet-deflecting bracelets and an invisible plane.

In the movie, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter and the Flash unite to fight evil.

Good for her! She certainly has the look for the part. Can she act? I don't think I've ever seen her in a movie.

I know that most of the movies that you watch it doesn't matter but in this case yes it does!

Larry - do you mean that a movie about a comic book will actualy have dialouge?
I suspect that like Catwoman, Batman, the Flash and Spiderman movies - a simple wooden acting style with lots of cliches and striking dramatic poses will suffice.

It may even be fun, but as for needing acting - I doubt it.
