Drew joined the Emirates Western Force from the Reds, where he’d won 35 Super caps and scored nine Super tries. One of the team’s most consistent performers in the 2007 season, Drew enjoyed ‘Man of the Match’ honours against the Stormers. He was one of six players to play in all of the Emirates Western Force’s Super 14 games in 2007, playing the season at fullback before switching to the wing for the Wallabies – and scoring a try in the Second Test against Wales in May (he says he doesn’t mind where he plays…as long as he plays). With his father and two brothers in the military, Drew reckons if he wasn’t a footballer he’d also be in the trenches. He also rates himself as a handy karaoke singer.
