Exclamation The Force and the Weagles have a home game on the same day

According to todays sunday times page 48

The Emirates Western Force play the Chiefs in Perth (doesn't say Subi) on Friday May 2nd (accoding to the fixtures on TWF at 19:05 www.twf.com.au/view.php?pg=08s14fixt

The Weagles AFL round 7 play Carlton (at Subi) on Friday May 2nd at 6:40 pm

Anyone in the know - know anything about this possible double booking - the Weagles are going to get a shock when they enter the field to see a sea of Blue ! mind you the way they are travelling at the moment any fans will be welcome

Sunday times and BIGPond on line also say West Sloth Beagles v Charlton Athletic on Friday 2nd May at 6.40 pm
    http://www.news.com.au/perthnow/file...port_final.pdf
    http://bigpondsport.com/AFL/2008AFLD...7/Default.aspx

ARU and RugbyWA websites also confirms TQ1's finding on the Force

Seems to me someone has messed up! Maybe if there is separate stadia we wouldn't have this problem?

Thinks that's a bit backwards Jazza would prefer to see the Weagles take on the under 11's at rugby providing they have had a drug testing done by their Moms - don't believe anyone else's drug testing at the moment.

mayb its an exhibition match at members equity to see numbers?
AFL will get the ground because its primarily a footy stadium.

We've already paid for our memberships so it has to be Subiaco.

Actually, if you read the terms and conditions of the memberships it does give them the right to change venues...and I highly doubt we'll get priority over AFL...

    Surely not the WACA?

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

They simply can't shift it to MES - corporates would be up in arms! They have about 2500 to look after, MES would be lucky to hold 300 or so?

Fair point Coach. I'd say they're more likely to shift the date once some genius works it out. That's also in the terms and conditions.
