Sad Kiwis flounder, but EAGLE has landed!

Could this mean that Rugby in the US will soon be better than rugby in NZ?

A little generous to the French but other than that no real argument (other than the lack of Scots!).

That guy obviously missed a few matches!
Ngwenya was good but he was not THAT good, mitchell would have been my pick on the other wing, Either him or Shane Williams.. not because they scored more tries but because of their ability to find space and their elusiveness. Contemponi was simply Awesome all the way through and id have him as 12 for sure.

Fourie Du Preez was head & shoulders above any other halfback although Hernandez was pretty good too. Qera the fijian was only effective in games where he wasnt faced with real oppositian, in the Australia game he hardly featured.

Im sorry but McCaw was still the best flanker out there & Rocky Elsom outdid himself. Id put Collins at 8 because i think that he has a good eye for breaks and can run the ball very well into heavy opposition. Front row is pretty good i wouldnt change that but i would spell John Smit's name right

Yeah Zim, I thought it looked to be a strange selection. Possibly the team has been picked on the highlight reels rather than actually watching any rugby. There also seems to be no real structure to it.

Fair call, all of those guys had an awesome WC and certainly played the best of all the players in that position, but that doesn't necessarily make them the most effective.

I think Morgan Williams deserves a slot in that team, when he wasn't looking around for a dummy to spit, he played out of his skin! Again probably not the form half of the tournament, but really there are a few selections there for similar reasons (Ngwenya being the most glaring)

Reminds me of the NZ team - great players in their positions but not necessarily the most effective!!!

Oh you know what I mean, they played above themselves.

I thought (for example) Carter played shit, but he still played better than most of the 10s in the cup. Berrick played awesome, but he was not clearly the best there.

Get it? Am I making myself clear?
