i think Nucifora for the top job, he plays a free flowing attacking game which wouls suit the wallabies well. it would be hard to get him though.

i think they should bring a forwards coach over from NZ, thats were we need the biggest improvement.

After our dismal performance, im sure of 2 things...the ARC is critically important for the future of our game and secondly we need a dedicated scrummaging unit. Both funded generously by the ARU.

I like the cut of his jib. If you can handle coaching the Blues in the biggest city in NZ, i reckon being the Wallaby coach sounds attractive.

I was chatting to a bloke today who is in agreement that we need to recruit a forwards/scrum coach from somewhere near Otago.

As for the top job, I don't see why not Nucifora - especially as the senior Brumbies (who may or may not have had inluence in his removal) are mostly moving on.

Maybe we need to look a bit longer term than 2011 and aim to win RWC2015 instead. This way we can still be competitive in 2011 but have a larger pool of real talent for 2015. (I was going to say "much like NZ this year" but shall now refrain - won't even mention it)

...and anyone free from what would seem to be ES bias/politics would be really good too

Ewen Mckenzie siad on fox sports news that he wants the job and he has got what it takes.

i think there a few others that can do a better job than him.

John Mitchell has been good for the force, hopefully he takes over for the role in the future.

I think my tenure as under 7's assistant coach for Rockingham proves that I could do a better job than Ewen McKenzie. Nothing against the man, but he's part of the establishment and therefore part of the problem.

As for the scrummaging coach, I don't think it needs to be a Kiwi, and I don't think the set piece is our only problem, we just don't seem to have the power in our pack. Either that or hey were under orders to lay off contesting the breakdown for most of the world cup. Any Saffa coach will work on that, most NH coachesunderstand that facet of the game. We seem to think it's a better idea to get our big men into mismatches with opposition wingers, fine when they get the ball, but too often, against quality opposition this fails. We need to develop a national culture of beating the buggers away from our football and then giving it to the best backs inthe world.

Yeah I remember it being pretty big when he announced it at the end of the season. I really think he's relishing the opportunity to build something from scratch, how often do you get a chance like that?
