    Help Needed

Trying to put the plate frames on my car - front one is fine, but can't get the back one on. Have a Toyota Seca and where the back plate sits, the moulding is indented to fit the plate, so with the frame on it's too big to fit back in the indent.

I thought about maybe putting some kind of spacer at the back and then using a longer screw to hold it back on, but don't know how secure that will be.

    Anyone got any bright ideas?

Sorry mate, have none. I had a little struggle with my front ones but managed to force (no pun..) it on.

Did you manage to try with some sort of spacer yet? It sounds like a good idea so long as the bolt/screw is the right diameter. Good luck.

Brute Force and Ignorance usually help me in such situations...

Longer screws and a spacer shouldn't make it any less secure so long as it is still done up tightly I would think. ?

What colour you after? I'll put a set aside

There are NO spares at JB's any more, although labelled plate frames for those that have already ordered are waiting there.

    A long screw always helps.

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
