Late night rummaging through John "The Messiah" O'Neils rubbish bins have unveiled the truth.
On hastily scribbled notes there is a clause :-
"The player is guaranteed a role as vice captain in any game where the outcome is of no consequence or a foregone conclusion"
There are several other clauses that cannot be revealed "at this stage" but will be announced at the appropriate time.
You will be interested to know that clauses that were ruled out of the original negotiations for the contract were :-
"The player will not have to observe any curfews"
"The player shall have Wendell Sailor as his other winger"
"In the event of Wendell Sailor not being available the player shall have Matt Dunning as his fellow winger"
