I mean that he could have a blinder of a game next up and we'll all be praising his efforts and saying he should definitely be in the team.

Only as good as your last game... which is why we're all bagging him now. But if we give him until the end of the pool stages he might show us why he's in the starting 15.

    Does that make sense?

I've just been bagging out on Lote so much lately... thought I'd give the diplomatic and optimistic approach a bit of a shot.

But I can't say I'm holding my breath for him. I wanted to see him dropped before France!

I agree with you Chick. Lote is really fast and has excellent kicking ability.

Perhaps we do need Lote's muscle, but I wish he'd use it. He tackles like my sister.

Perhaps he's doing exactly what he's told to do?
Does anyone recall Drew Mitchell's comments after the S14 season had ended? He could hear the groans from the Subi crowd each time he kicked it back down the opposition's throats, but he pleaded "That's what I was told to do!"

I'm no fan of Lote's, but let's see how he does against Fiji.

Even if he does have a blinder of a game against Fiji, so he bloody well should! I expect him to have a blinder. They play 7s and can't get their shit together with an extra 8 players on the field. We saw that in Perth. Though granted it is a very different team in the WC...but still...

Lote has done bugger all for all the last S14 season and all Internationals to date this season, apart from the Fiji game in Perth where he looked as if he had started again. He has been virtually invisible in the two RWC games. I am hoping. like Jess that he has one big game in him, hopefully as a match winner in on of the knock out games.

O ye oe little faith. Lote has been putting in 110% in each game so far. You are all Force purple blinded. If he played for the Force we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Lote to score 2 tries v Fiji.

I wouldn't normally agree with a powder puff blue boy. But I think you're right there.
