The first tahs penalty in the last 5 minutes was just Waughs brilliance, the second one was more of Waugh being cheeky and was slightly to the side, but Hodgeson was Isolated and pretty much ran into the tahs backrow.... It really didn't look that bad tbh.

Pleas don't reply with comments on how SANZAR should fire the ref because that is just stupid.
watched that game again........ I still cant see how u can go with the ref.the collapse scums especially was so picky and he ruined the game for all what ever teram u bat for. All corrospondence I have read question the ref decisions and keep mentioing how inexperianced he was...Jazza93 I hope 1993 is not how old u r.

That said, it is often the case that an apparent obstruction as seen from the touch line might not actually be a obstruction if you're closer to the play. If the "obstruction" prevented the defending team from tackling the ball carrier then it needs pinging. Sometimes the depth perception from the touch line will allow for such a call that needs ignoring.
Are you a politician or a beaurocrat? Hard to tell.

    Choose your response:

    (a) I decline to confirm nor deny one way or the other

    (b) Why not try to watch a game from the sideline and then watch a replay from a good high camera angle? Then you'll see what I mean. Better still, get out there and referee a game.

    +1 Unipirate.

Lying on the wrong side was "self policed" by teams McCaw would look like this for a while until he learned..

There are enough camera angles in today's game for stompers to be cited

    Time to refocus

Folks, we have a big game on Saturday night. The ref lost us the Tahs match thats a fact.

We need to be at MES in numbers and unified to beat the Bulls. Our team needs us, now is the time to chime in and be one of the extra 20000 players needed.

We go into this game massive underdogs make no mistake, but stranger things have happened. The boys hear our support, run faster and try harder. This is possible.

We need crowd chants and totdal support in defence and offence, lets work hard for our team!

You are with us or against us.

    That is all.

Why did the management see fit to organise security to escort him off the field?
Did they think he had done some crap decisions?
Crap enough for them to organise this escort in advance?
Jaco Peyper you we're very ordinary...
