What if the Force become the first Australian side to beat a kiwi team?

What would be the consequences for Super Rugby and it's reputation if a team outside of super rugby and from a rival series (World Series Rugby) defeats the Crusaders and ends the aussie "hoodoo"? I would imagine it would be catastrophic for the dying competition, a competition where if you believe the media is basically on its knees!

But would it actually end the aussie hoodoo? Because lets be honest the "aussie hoodoo" is a super rugby thing, well atleast thats my impression of it. What it would do though is send another big F U to the RA!

This could end up being a complete utter embarassment for the national body (again) and one does wonder where their accountability is whilst holding these positions of power to ransom.

Lets hope it happens and we steam roll the Crusaders! GO THE FORCE!!

There's a lot of water to go under the bridge before we can meaningfully consider this possibility

The usual suspects are ahead of this narrative, chaining it's a third string training side

Would be funnier if we canned the Crusaders game altogether and played a big-name European club instead!

***I vote for London Irish, good way to get both English and Irish punters into the ground. Besides, it could be the ersatz fourth Irish test that Perth should have gotten; you know, because RA is supporting rugby in WA and all that.

Japan and the Pacific Islands for Aussie Super 9's!

Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?

The same as it will be when we play the Rebels. If we win, we will have been playing a training squad of second and third stringers. If we lose, it will prove what a joke the team and the competition are and will be. It is one of the reasons I thought it a bad idea...

The Crusaders don't have a good record in those types of games without their best players. They have lost to England heavily and the Lions as well when other Kiwi Super Rugby teams got wins.

At the end of the day, a win is a win, regardless of what team they send over. If Force defeat Crusaders then that's what the score board will say. Can they do it? I'd love to see it, especially in this context.

Don't you mean when the Irish smash them? RA don't want West Australia in the country, not the other way round.

That would have me really scratching my head on who to support. Old London Irish fan from way back, and my nephew plays in their kids league.
