Not the news we want.
Words from Foley

The Western Force injury toll is mounting with the loss of two more key players ahead of Saturday night’s Super Rugby clash with the Queensland Reds in Brisbane.
Centre Kyle Godwin left the field with a knee injury in the second half of Saturday’s 25-19 loss to the Melbourne Rebels at nib Stadium while flanker Chris Alcock was wearing a leg brace after the game.
Alcock is captain Matt Hodgson’s cover at openside flanker.
Depth will be tested after having already lost two props, Tetera Faulkner and Francois van Wyk, for several weeks.
Despite the defeat coach Michael Foley will not go back to the drawing board but he will remind players of one of the first rules of rugby — go forward before going wide.

Top article Nick (not), did you forget you had this one due so therefore didn't bother finding out whether either of the lads was going to be fit or out for this week?
Godwin was due to have scans today
So there we are. More info as the days move on
At least the message we all saw within 20 minutes has made it to the coach. Go forward first is certainly important. It should be backed up with the age old under 12s standard run straight and pass wide.
If he can get both of those together on the field, I reckon they could win any junior competition in Oz

So is there any word on injuries? I reckon there'd be some seriously tired bodies on those boys.
Lance said the Force needed to show more patience in attack against the Queensland Reds on Saturday night at Suncorp Stadium than they did against the Rebels.
They will need to do so without Chris Alcock, who is expected to be sidelined for 10 weeks with posterior cruciate ligament damage.
And Kyle Godwin will have further scans on his damaged knee and be given until later this week to prove his fitness for the clash with the Reds.

That is damn shit luck for Chris. At least we've got Kane waiting in the wings and i'm pretty confident the lad can handle the step up considering the amount of games he covered for last year.
:-/ 10 weeks, poor bloke.
I read on GAGR that Matt hodgson was injured. Did I miss this news elsewhere?
