Its been a topic of some conversation and speculation in the press…”THE SUBIACO HOODOO” on the Emirates Western Force.
It can now be revealed that the Hoodoo was cast adrift in a secretive and strange ceremony that took place in the early hours of last Wednesday morning.
In an exclusive we can reveal that members of TheWholeForce.com engaged the services of a HooDoo GuRu and with some assistance they cast a spell to rid the ground of all demons, paving the way for the Emirates Western Force to post their first home win 18-17 against the Hurricanes on Friday night.
Our photographer went along and captured these amazing photos of the event.
Speaking under strict terms of confidentiality a spokesman for TheWholeForce.com said that the HooDoo GuRu was engaged after extensive advertising on their popular Western Force Supporters Forum.

The spokesman went on to say that after the professional curse caster was engaged it was planned to conduct the spell ceremony at the ground at 3.00am last Wednesday Morning.
The spell involved the act of burying 2 free range chemical free chickens in the place of both good and bad luck on the ground so passing the Hoodoo onto someone else.
The spokesman said there was a solid list of who the bad luck should be passed onto with names including Greg Growden, Kim Hagdorn, The President of NSWRU and the TMO from the Crusaders match last year. In the end the voting was overwhelmingly in favour of Queensland Coach Eddie Jones to cop the bad spell.
The chickens were buried at the site of the Scott Fava’s first try for the Force to signify “good luck” and the other at the site of Haig Sairs disallowed try to represent the “bad luck”.
The ceremony concluded some 30 minutes later and all the participants disappeared into the night to look forward to a Friday night victory.
