This one Is for tic and tocc.
I'm on the bus into the valley and on the old moreton rubber works building there is a billboard that says pick any 3 games from $55.
Is that like a selective membership? You can you buy a ticket that is valid for more than one game. A package ticket?

Sydney Swans have a similar deal here in Sydney

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
Alot of AFL clubs have 3 game memberships - the NRL in it's recent push to sell memberships of late has seen a few clubs offer 3/4 game memberships

Interesting concept. Why don't we do it? Last night we had 13000 people there?
You reckon that would get more people in?

We have limited seats after ticketed members are taken care of. Where as the Reds have some 35,000 non sold seats at any game.
An option could be for those who know they aren't going to nominate their seat by say Tuesday, which then enables it to go back into the available pool for that match with the member getting a credit against the following seasons membership.
Surely achievable in todays computer age?
Far better to have one off spectators in better seats in hope of retaining them rather than putting them in shitty fringe spots and putting them off?

I agree Burgs, because of my shift work I can only get to a game every now and then. Went to the game against the tahs and asked if I could buy a seat in the gold area, the best seat available was a silver seat in one of the corners and I spent half the game watching on the big screen. Would have much preferred to pay a bit more for a better view.
Yeah, would be a lot of mining types in that situation. Have seen some share a membership but that gets a bit messy.

Queensland are committed to getting 15000 members. This helps especially when they are on a roll.
Generally speaking you aren’t learning much if your lips are moving!!!
they might break 15'000 this week, sitting at 14'800
That's a disgrace
