Given Fox's usual deluge of self promotion, that is pretty telling and doesn't bode well for upcoming rights negotiations I'd guess.
I've still got dish on roof as well, I've thought about going the streaming only version of Fox but a friend of mine has it and encounters some buffering issues.

I figured it would cost the same anyway so keep the dish.

As for the other issue and granted I give zero f**ks about the competition now but I haven't seen a single ad for Super Rugby despite being glued to Fox Sports on the weekends. There have been some ads for the Sydney 7's but I wouldn't have thought that would be an impediment to advertising the other competition.

I have seen some ads for the NRL which doesn't start for another 7 or 8 weeks.

Ditto. And it's not solely what happened to the Force. Since they introduced this insane conference set-up the number of matches I watched steadily declined to where I was only watching our team every week and maybe one or two others involving mainly Crusaders, Hurricanes maybe Reds or Brumbies. Even then a lot of matches were so negative I switched over to the Mungos before long anyway.

Not sure when Phipps signed his most recent extension with the Tahs.

There have been the occasional buffering issues, but it's been working well lately. We're on NBN, and had a few buffering issues, but ended up buying the Foxtel Now box which seems to work well. I'm guessing that the other devices perhaps didn't have as much memory or something so were more susceptible to drop outs.
The main annoyance is either having to watch games live, or waiting 24 hours for On Demand, but at half the price we're happy to work around that.

Agreed. These unions are broke due to being run by boofheads and SANZAAR’s poor commercial structures.

Coleman, Arnold, Carter off. Rona off. Phipps off.

Those first four are planks, but RA should quickly sign up Phipps on a four or five year multi million dollar deal. Shore up depth. Kids got potential.

Someone actually wanted Phipps? Go figure-what’s he gonna do in his new club?

They don't need to, hasn't he "played" footy seven bazillion tests? If not, they can always pay out his current contract so he can re sign for the tahs

The Australian Republic Movement is scraping the gutter with the face of their campaign.
